That Thing We Do

Tokki:  “Tokki, little biter” is what I hear occasionally from Mom.  I will be sitting by a corner of the wall looking so innocent and then I will oh-so-quietly turn my head and bite the corner of the wall.  Mom has fixed that now by installing little nine inch transparent corner protectors.

Yoshi:  “You joker!”  is what the parents call me once in a while.  I like poking Nico’s butt, jumping over the gate to go to the living room, or trying to take some bun’s treat from them.  I get chased a lot and some fur gets removed.   That’s just less fur that Dad has to brush.  I am one trickster of a bun.

Maisy:  “Carpet chewer!”  I never did anything wrong until I was sure I was home.  Now, the carpet is mine all mine and no bun else’s.  I hear “Maisy Bug!” and I look up wide-eyed.   And when they turn their back, “Chew!”  The carpet is all mine.

Piper:  “Litter digger!” is what I do.  I have dug in the litter boxes from the start.  Dad places screens over them.  However, now I have learned to remove the screens by inserting my paws into them and dragging them out.  Whee, digging time!

Nico:  “Bossy!”  I don’t know why Mom and Dad call me bossy.  I just want things done my way, the right way, and that’s my way.  I want Mom all to myself, every day, all day.  What’s wrong with that?  Yoshi pokes me so I chase him.  Piper digs so I complain.  Tokki is my Boo and I love her, and she does nothing wrong.  Maisy is in the other room for now but I am watching her.  They should be calling me the “Watch Bunny” because that is what I do.
